My cleat
Some kapers tie their kites to stakes in the ground which seems to me to be both restrictive and dangerous. This small cleat with it's short kevlar loop attatches the kiteline to my belt and leaves my hands free. Thus I can safely walk the kite to wherever it needs to be.

It's made of 5mm aluminium and the best thing about it is I can't loose it.
